Central Council for Research in Siddha has announced notification for the recruitment of 13 Research Officer, LDC, Steno, Lab Attendant & Driver Posts. 1. Research Officer (Siddha): 05 posts
2. Research Officer (Pharmacognosy): 01 post
3. Stenographer Grade-C: 01 post
4. Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 02 posts
5. Lab Attendant: 03 posts
6. Driver: 01 post

 

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Postgraduate Degree in Siddha system of medicine from Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University, Chennai/ Recognized University from Tamil Nadu for S.No.1 post, M.Sc. in Botany/ Medicinal Plants/ M.Pharm Pharmacognosy from a recognized university with 5 years research/ teaching experience in the area of Pharmacognosy for S.No.2 post, 12th(+2) class or equivalent from recognized Board/ University with Typing knowledge of English only on computer for S.No.3 & 4 posts, 12th (+2) class or equivalent with Science subjects from recognized Board/ University for S.No.5 post, Possession of a valid Driving license for motor cars & Knowledge of automobile mechanism (the candidate should be able to set right minor defects in vehicle) for S.No.6 post.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test/ interview.

Age Limit: Candidates age should not above 40 years for S.No.1 & 2 posts, should not above 27 years for remaining posts as on 01-01-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay the fee of Rs.100/- for OBC/ General candidates and Rs.20/- for SC/ ST candidates, Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of Central Council for Research In Siddha, payable at Chennai.

How to Apply: Interested candidates can send applications in the prescribed format or can be download from the website www.crisiddha.tn.nic.in along with sufficiently stamped self-addressed envelope with all necessary documents, application with two recent passport size photographs, apart from that one recent passport size photograph has to be affixed in the first page of the application on the space provided & one self-addressed envelope (11x 5cm) affixing postal stamps worth Rs.25/- along with the duly filled in prescribed Application Form in a separate cover. candidates should mention “Application for the post of ———————–” in bold letters on the right side top of the envelope to Central Council for Research in Siddha, Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India SCRI Building, Anna Govt.
