SEBI was established on April 12, 1992 in accordance with the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992. Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit : Candidates upper age should be below 60 yrs as on 01/08/2013 and Contract will expire on completion of 3 yrs or candidates having an age of 62 years, whichever is earlier.
Education Qualification : Candidates must be possess Graduation from a recognized University and Computer Literate (Knowledge of MS Word, Excel).

Experience Required :
1. Candidate must be an officer with minimum 20 years of Commissioned service in Indian Army / Indian Navy / Indian Air Force.
2. Candidate must have served minimum 14 years through Short Service Commission (SSCNT) and having 6 years of experience as Security Officer with Banks.
Mode of Selection : Candidates will be selected through on the basis of Performance In Interview.
